Fine Food Australia Announces Partnership with Restaurant & Catering Industry Association of Australia (R&CA)
Fine Food Australia, Australia’s ultimate trade show for the foodservice and hospitality industry, is excited to reignite its partnership with Restaurant & Catering Industry Association of Australia (R&CA). Representing over 57,000 restaurants, cafes and catering businesses across Australia, R&CA is the peak industry body and voice of the vibrant foodservice industry.
Established in 1922, by café owners wanting to provide a unified community for sharing information, saving money and talking to government, their impact over the years has worked to improve regulations and policies that that have in turn created more robust and prosperous hospitality businesses across Australia.
R&CA’s current members include owners and operators of restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, catering companies, takeaway businesses, and function centres. With a shared vision of supporting the Australian foodservice and hospitality industry, the pair are excited to work together once again in highlighting the value of the industry to the Australian way of life through advocacy, networking and celebration.
Vitally important to Australia’s national economy, the hospitality sector generates over $40.4 billion in retail turnover each year as well as employing over 650,000 people. An industry as integral to the country as this deserves to be empowered and valued. R&CA are proud of their achievements through the years, advocating at every level of government and feeding insights back to their members, so they are adequately equipped to navigate industry regulations.
“We’re thrilled to be able to participate in the leading trade event for the food industry where suppliers, owners and operators are able to network, collaborate and explore new innovations,” says Steve Neal, Commercial Director for R&CA. “We’re proud to be partnering with Fine Food Australia in 2025. It is exciting to have both industries leaders working together for the betterment of the hospitality industry.”
Fine Food Australia is the country’s pivotal platform for connecting industry leaders, discovering the latest trends and providing a defining, annual in-person experience, integral to the sustained future of the foodservice and hospitality sphere. The two established brands will amplify R&CA’s important voice within the industry.

It’s more important than ever to hear directly from the industry—understanding their challenges, opportunities, and innovations—so we can create an event that truly meets their needs. Together, we look forward to delivering a platform that fosters meaningful connections, showcases the latest trends, and helps shape the future of Australia’s restaurant and catering sector.”
