FSAA Unveils New Opportunities for Members in 20th Anniversary Year

Mar 3, 2025

Celebrating 20 years as the Foodservice Suppliers Association Australia (FSAA) and 60 years of industry representation since its founding as the Australian Manufacturers Association, the FSAA is embracing a bold new chapter.

The following update was provided by Minnie Constan, CEO, FSAA

The association’s recent name change from Foodservice Suppliers Association Australia to Foodservice Association Australia reflects a renewed commitment to better represent and support our diverse membership base—manufacturers, distributors and service providers—through expanded resources, exclusive programs and new pathways for collaboration.

A significant step forward is FSAA’s increased focus on advocacy, ensuring the foodservice industry has a voice at the table when key decisions are made.  Through a new partnership with the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), FSAA members can influence policy discussions on critical industry issues, strengthening their collective voice and shaping the future of foodservice in Australia.

While embracing new opportunities, FSAA remains committed to its core strength—promoting real connections.  Our popular networking events continue to bring the industry together, fostering valuable relationships and collaboration.  At the same time, we are stepping up our focus on personal development through expanded mentoring and scholarship programs, including a newly introduced scholarship for marketers in 2025.

FSAA members also have access to a range of innovative initiatives designed to drive business growth.  The recently launched FSAA Marketplace allows service providers to share exclusive member-only offers, while the FSAA Benchmark Reports enable members to measure their performance against industry standards, providing valuable insights to sharpen their competitive edge.

With these new initiatives and a continued focus on connection and development, FSAA delivers unparalleled support, empowering members to succeed in an evolving foodservice landscape.
