Flavours of NSW
Minister for Regional Development, John Barilaro joined the Member for Albury Greg Aplin and the Member for Coffs Harbour Andrew Fraser to congratulate the 16 producers as they prepare for their participation in the Fine Food Australia.
With over 1000 suppliers in one place, Fine Food Australia is the largest food industry trade event in Australia and in the Southern Hemisphere. It will run in Sydney over four days, from 20-23 September.
Sixteen of the state’s best food producers have been selected to receive financial and marketing support from the NSW Government to participate on the Flavours of NSW stand at the Fine Food Australia event in Sydney later this year.
“The 16 producers represent the diversity and quality of food and wine available in NSW. The event is chance for local producers to build industry contacts and brand awareness to over 30,000 visitors, and to launch new products,” said Minister for Regional Development, John Barilaro.
NSW produce on display this year will include coffee, jams and condiments from the Mid North Coast, simmer sauces and macadamia products from the Northern Rivers, oils, vinegars and fresh fruit juices from the Hunter and Central Coast.
Last year, participants generated $220,000 to $310,000 in expected sales with potential export sales of up to $60,000. Fine Food Australia is an annual food show in its 31st year.
