Export Connect, in partnership with Investment NSW, hosted two free-to-attend focused sessions at ICC Sydney on the 10th and 11th of September, scheduled before the Fine Food Australia show doors opened.
The Export Market Insights & Networking Session (Wednesday 10th Sep) featured Cinnamon Lab, a functional foods and dietary supplements distributor in South Korea; Lulu Hypermarket, a prominent retailer in the Middle East; and Olympia Industries, a major distributor in India. During the session, businesses gained valuable, up-to-the-minute insights from the buyers through a facilitated Q&A on consumer, channel and category trends in their markets, and learned what buyers seek in a supplier and how to effectively work with them.
The Export Capability-Building Session (Thursday 11th Sep) featured NSW exporters Chief Nutrition, Luca Ciano, and RBK Nutraceuticals as they shared practical advice on market selection, market entry and export pricing strategies, along with the opportunities and challenges they were facing in priority export markets.
Following both sessions, and after the 45-minute discussion, there was an opportunity for visiting buyers, food and beverage exporters, and other interested stakeholders to network in the room.
