Recognised as a trusted voice in foodservice, Venessa Barnes is known for connecting the dots between people, products and brands with clarity and impact.
Starting her career as a chef, Venessa moved into senior business development and marketing roles with some of the industry’s leading names, including Top Cut, Simplot and Game Farm. In 2016, she joined Australian Pork Limited as Business Development Manager – Foodservice Marketing, working closely with chefs, buyers and suppliers to drive product success and boost menu placement across the high-volume foodservice sector.
Her passion for practical, results-driven marketing led her to launch FoodLogic—a consultancy focused on helping food businesses grow brand awareness, customer loyalty, and long-term profitability through meaningful, strategic connections.
In her most recent role, Venessa has joined the Restaurant & Catering Association (R&CA) as Head of Growth & Partnerships, where she leads national engagement, partnership strategy, and new opportunities for member value.
Venessa also contributes her time and expertise through advisory roles with Worldchefs, the Tourism Task Force, and the Royal Agricultural Society, and proudly serves as a Red Meat Industry Ambassador.
