Joshua Askew

I started my apprenticeship in my local pub at the age of 15,from there I worked in various fine dining restaurants, gastro pubs and 5-star international hotel chains.
I have also been lucky enough to work abroad and have spent a couple of years in the Whitsundays which to this day was the most challenging environment I have worked in so far and was also the one shaped me the most as a chef.
Working at Swissotel in Sydney under such great mentors gave me the opportunity to become an executive chef .
Now I’m currently based in PARKROYAL darling harbour where every week I focus on developing my team members, becoming a better leader and learning how to be a better cook.
