On 12th October, restaurateur and chef, Luke Mangan, hosted in partnership with BridgeClimb the first ever pop-up restaurant on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

For the special event, 134 metres above sea level, Mangan customised versions of three his signature dishes – kingfish sashimi, organic egg crab omelette with enoki mushroom, herb salad and miso mustard broth, and lamington-based dessert.

He said, “It’s been a massive few months for my team and I, with our restaurants now officially found on planes, trains, ships and shore across 5 countries… with that in mind, it only seems fitting to now also take our food to the top of Australia’s iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge! Showcasing Australia’s finest produce via our signature dishes most definitely compliments this amazing view of our beautiful city!”

This is BridgeClimb’s second venture into the culinary space, following The Canape Climb: a tailored experience for corporate groups.

The two guests of the Luke Mangan pop up were Jin Zexin from Guangzhou, China and a Sydney resident of six years, and Samantha Strachan from Jervis Bay, NSW.
