Ask the Experts is a new initiative for Fine Food Australia and offers visitors the one-off opportunity to receive free business advice based on years of industry experience and knowledge. Bought to you by FSCI and Design Consultants, attend a one-on-one hour long consultation gaining independent advice on a wide range of services from concept development and feasibility studies to specialist foodservice design, as well as operational matters.
Andrew Brain is a co-director of MTD Foodservice and Foodservice Consultants Australia (FCA) and has more than 30 years of experience in the foodservice design and construction of commercial kitchens. He has worked in project across Australia, UAE and the Pacific Islands.
Andrew is a registered Building Practitioner and is a Senior Associate Member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI). Andrew also holds a Cert IV in Architectural Building Design and a current Food Safety Supervisor accreditation.
Julian Ha is a co-director of MTD Foodservice Pty Ltd and Foodservice Consultants Australia (FCA) and has more than 20 years of experience in the foodservice design and construction of commercial kitchens. He has worked in project across Australia as well as overseas in Malaysia, India, China, UAE, Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong.
For the past 20 years, Julian has been involved in the detailed design of commercial kitchen fitout and engineering of commercial kitchens.
Julian holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is an Associate Member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI).
Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) is a worldwide industry association that promotes professionalism in foodservice and hospitality consulting. Membership requirements are stringent and the association’s members are recognised as industry experts. The FCSI Educational Foundation (FCSI EF) is a non-profit organization that is committed to working with members to secure the future of the foodservice consulting industry through nurturing the next generation of professional foodservice consultants.
