The 2015 Australian Culinary Challenge will be the highlight of the year in culinary competition in Australia, held at the Sydney Showgrounds and Sydney Olympic Park as part of Fine Food Australia from September 20th – 23rd inclusive.

Chefs, trainees and apprentices will have the opportunity to pit their skills against each other and against the clock, competing for a share of up to $20,000 in cash and prizes.

This year’s exciting competition highlights will include The Australian National Team Selection, the inaugural ‘Fonterra Foodservice Battle of the Pacific’ and the Nestle Golden Chefs Hat final series, celebrating its 50th Year Anniversary.

Chefs of the highest calibre and skill level are invited to showcase their talents live in front of the Fine Food audience and will be judged by a panel of international, interstate and local judges.

The Australian Culinary Federation is committed to showcasing and promoting culinary excellence through culinary competition and to encouraging participation whilst providing world class competition.

The competition demonstrates passionate and dedication to the industry, where competitors range from first year Apprentices wanting to develop their skills to national and international chefs wanting to demonstrate the latest culinary trends.
